Terms of Service
Last updated: June 19, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this website and any custom fabrication work you order from Trailblazer Custom Fabrication ("Trailblazer," "we," "us"). By submitting a quote request or paying a deposit, you agree to these Terms.
1. What we do
We provide custom design and fabrication services — brackets, mounts, fixtures, replacement parts, prototypes, and small-batch hardware. Work is performed to the description and files you provide and to the scope stated in the quote we send you.
2. Quotes
A quote is our good-faith estimate for the scope described. Quotes are valid until the expiration date shown on them, and we may revise a quote before you accept it if the scope, files, or requirements change. A quote becomes an order only when you accept it and pay the required deposit or full amount.
3. Payment and deposits
Custom work begins after payment. Jobs under $250 are paid in full up front; jobs of $250 or more require a 50% deposit to begin, with the balance due before delivery unless your quote states otherwise. Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store your full card details. Deposit and refund terms are described in our Deposits & Refunds policy.
4. Your files and your rights
You represent that you have the right to have the part made — that your files, designs, sketches, and sample parts do not infringe anyone else's intellectual property and are not subject to a restriction that would prohibit us from fabricating them. You retain ownership of the designs you supply. We keep a design record of work we produce so reorders and revisions are faster; you may ask us to delete it.
5. Work we decline
We do not fabricate firearms or firearm components, items intended to cause harm, counterfeit or trademark-infringing goods, or anything whose manufacture would be unlawful or that is subject to export control we are not authorized to handle. We may decline any job at our discretion and refund undeposited amounts.
6. Revisions, fit, and engineering review
Each quote states its included revision allowance. Where a part carries load, we perform engineering checks as described in the quote, but fabrication has tolerances and real-world parts can vary from a model. You are responsible for confirming a part is suitable for its intended use before relying on it, especially in safety-critical applications.
7. Turnaround
Turnaround estimates are estimates, not guarantees. We will tell you honestly if a timeline slips. We are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control.
8. Warranty and limitation of liability
We stand behind our workmanship: if a part is defective in materials or workmanship relative to the agreed scope, tell us promptly and we will remake or refund it. Except for that remedy, work is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and orders are governed by the version in effect when you placed them. Questions? Email founders@trailblazer.network.
