From cut pieces to an assembly

Bring the finished-part requirements, whether you need one piece or a short run. Include the stock sizes, weld locations, holes and dimensions that must fit other equipment. We can review material supply and added cutting, drilling or bending as part of the same request.

For existing parts, send photos of the whole part and close-ups of the area needing work. Include how it is used and what happened. We will confirm whether repair or replacement is a job we can take.

Steel, aluminum and stainless requests

Tell us the material and grade if known, along with thickness and condition. Different materials and assemblies need different preparation and processes. We confirm the material, process and scope for the job in the quote.

If the work requires a particular welding specification, inspection or qualification, include it with the drawing before quoting. Send coated or previously repaired parts as photos first so preparation can be discussed.

What to send for a welding quote

• Photos, sketch or drawing, including the finished dimensions.
• Material, thickness and number of parts.
• How the part is used and where it attaches.
• Required date, finish and any inspection requirements.
• Your location and whether the part can be brought to the shop.

A rough sketch is enough to start the conversation. We will ask for the details needed to establish the scope.
